The Madison County Commissioners intend to contract for professional services in connection with the design, bidding, construction administration, construction observation and funding administration of water treatment plant improvements and water lines. This project includes renovations at an existing water treatment plant and new water lines in the county. Engineering firms interested in being considered for a contract to provide the required services should reply with a statement of qualifications in triplicate no later than 4pm on January 11th, 2019. Statements received after this deadline will not be considered.

Statements of qualifications should include information regarding the firm’s technical approach to the project, experience of the firm on similar projects, past performance on projects in Madison County or similar size counties, experience of the key project personnel, a minimum of three references and any previous experience with project funding.

Statements of qualifications shall be limited to twenty (20) pages, including cover letters, etc.

Statements of qualifications should be marked "Statement of Qualifications for Professional Design Services for Madison County Water Project" on the outside of the envelope.

Responding firms will be evaluated based upon their qualifications. Following this evaluation, the Madison County Commissioners will enter into contract negotiations with the highest ranked firm.
