Help Me Grow is a program for pregnant women and children birth to age 3 that provides services to promote children’s growth and development and supports families during the important early years of a child’s life.
Madison County Help Me Grow offers two voluntary programs for prenatal women, children and families:
Home Visitation - This is a voluntary program that provides first time
expectant parents or new parents the information and the support they need to be prepared for the birth of their child and to provide ongoing education and support. A Home Visitor will:

Provide information and activities that help children grow and learn using the Parents as Teachers curriculum

Connect parents with resources in their local community

Support families in developing their parenting skills and confidence
Both programs offer free books to enrolled children as well as monthly Playgroups and Monthly Newsletters.
Early Intervention - This is a voluntary program that provides family centered services for infants and toddlers to age 3 with a developmental delay, disability or medical condition likely to result in a delay. A Service Coordinator will:

Coordinate an Evaluation and/or Assessment to determine the child’s needs.

Assist the family in finding and coordinating services

Connect parents with resources in their local community
