The Jefferson Township Board of Trustees intends to compile a list of pre-qualified architectural firms based on the responding firms’ competence to perform the required architectural design services as indicated by the technical training, education, and experience of the firm's personnel, especially the technical training, education, and experience of the employees within the firm who would be assigned to perform the services.

Professional Design Services

 

The Township anticipates that it may require the services of a professional architectural design firm at some point in the next year.  Specifically, the responding firms will be evaluated for their ability to provide final plans, specifications, bid documents and related services for projects related to construction of township facilities, including fire stations.  The Township anticipates that such projects will require services provided by a registered architect, possibly working together with other disciplines.

Madison County Department of Job and Family Services (MCDJFS) intends to enter into transportation contracts to provide transportation for our clients to medical and other miscellaneous appointments (outpatient, testing, etc.). Contracts will be open to any providers with appropriate qualifications, regular vehicles, wheelchair accessible vehicles, ambulatory services, etc. Submitted proposals must be completed according to the specifications and provisions outlined in the Request for Proposal (RFP) on or before Friday, May 28, 2021 at 12:00pm. The terms of the contract shall be 24 months, effective July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023 with the option to renew for one additional 1-year period, without the release of another RFP. Sealed proposals for the Madison County – 2018 CDBG Village of South Solon Demolition Project will be received by the Madison County Commissioners at their office located at the Madison County Courthouse, 1 N. Main Street, P.O. Box 618, London, Ohio 43140 until 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 27, 2019 and then at 10:15 a.m. at said office opened and read aloud.

 

The project will demolish two vacant buildings in the Village of South Solon, Ohio: 12810 N. High Street and 7350 W. Main Street.  The 12810 N. High Street unit will require asbestos abatement prior to demolition.

 

Bid documents may be secured at the Madison County Commissioners’ Office, Madison County Courthouse, 1 N.Main Street, London, Ohio 43140 (740-852-2972).  There is no charge for the bid documents.

 

Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of 100% of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to the aforesaid Madison County Commissioners or by certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid amount in favor of the aforesaid Madison County Commissioners.  Bid Bonds shall be accompanied by Proof of Authority of the official or agent signing the bond.

The project will install two (2) concrete fire protection cisterns and one (1) tornado siren in the Village of Midway.

The Madison County Commissioners intend to contract for professional services in connection with the design, bidding, construction administration, construction observation and funding administration of a sewer collection system for the unincorporated Summerford area. This project includes a new sewer collection system to serve a residential area in the county. Engineering firms interested in being considered for a contract to provide the required services should reply with a statement of qualifications in triplicate no later than 4pm on April 22nd, 2019. Statements received after this deadline will not be considered.

 

Statements of qualifications should include information regarding the firm’s technical approach to the project, experience of the firm on similar projects, past performance on projects in Madison County or similar size counties, experience of the key project personnel, a minimum of three references and any previous experience with project funding.

Statements of qualifications shall be limited to twenty (20) unbound pages, including cover letters, dividers, etc.

OHIO SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION COMMISSION

 

ELECTION LEGAL NOTICE

 

The Ohio Soil and Water Conservation Commission will cause an election of Supervisors of the Soil and Water Conservation District to be held in accordance with Chapter 940 of the Ohio Revised Code.

 

Residents or landowners, firms, and corporations that own land or occupy land in the Madison Soil and Water Conservation District and are 18 years of age and older may vote for Supervisor. A non-resident landowner, firm, or corporation must provide an affidavit* of eligibility, which includes designation of a voting representative, prior to casting a ballot.

 

There are three ways an eligible voter can cast a ballot:

  1. at the SWCD annual meeting/election event, which will take place on November 15, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Der Dutchman Restaurant, 445 S. Jefferson Avenue, Plain City, Ohio 43064; or
  2. at the SWCD office until 3:00 p.m. on 11/15/2018 ; or
