Bridges Community Action Partnership seeks bids to construct an interior office area of approximately 5,000 square feet within existing county owned building located 284 Lafayette St, London, OH 43140 per architect’s approved design plans and new flooring schedule. HVAC and sprinkler system excluded from this in bid request. Bid should include all permits and building fees. Bid package must also include Certificate of Ohio Workers’ Compensation insurance and Certificate of Liability insurance.
 
Guaranteed completion time will be weighed strongly as a factor in acceptance of successful bid.

Design plans, without new flooring schedule, are attached to this notice.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS CONCERNING THE PROPOSED INCREASE IN THE REAL PROPERTY TRANSFER TAX O.R.C. 322.02 - The Board of Commissioners of Madison County hereby gives notice that it shall conduct two public hearings concerning whether or not the Board shall adopt a resolution increasing the real property transfer tax, aka conveyance fees, on each deed conveying real property or any interest in real property located wholly or partially within the boundaries of the county. The tax shall be levied upon the grantor named in the deed and shall be paid by the grantor for the use of the county to the county auditor at the time of the delivery of the deed as provided in section 319.202 of the Revised Code and prior to the presentation of the deed to the recorder of the county for recording.

The date of the first hearing is Monday, March 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. and the date of the second hearing is Monday, March 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.

The location of both hearings shall be at the Madison County Commissioners Office, 1 North Main Street, London, Ohio.

The terms of the contract shall be 24 months, effective October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2018, with options to renew for two (2) additional 1-year periods, without the release of another RFP.
